Heavy fog cancels school buses in Windsor‑Essex

School bus service in Windsor and Essex County was cancelled Friday morning due to heavy fog.

Windsor‑Essex Student Transportation Services made the decision shortly before 5:45 a.m.

Bus service is expected to resume this afternoon in both the city and the county.

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the region, warning of areas of dense fog with near‑zero visibility that could make travel hazardous.
