Four displaced after accidental house fire in Windsor’s Ford City

Four people have been displaced following a house fire in Windsor’s Ford City neighbourhood.

Crews were called to the 1600 block of Drouillard Road near Reginald Street around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Chief Fire Prevention Officer John Smith said the fire has been deemed accidental, noting candles used for a birthday cake were burning at the time.

No one was injured and damage is estimated at $250,000.
