Flags in Windsor at half-mast after B.C. mass shooting

City flags flying at half mast for a week in response to mass killing in B.C.

The City of Windsor, alongside the rest of Canada, is flying Canada flags on federal buildings at half-mast in response to the mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C. This will be in effect for seven days.

City personnel express deep sorrow over the event and the losses.

“Our hearts go out to the community of Tumbler Ridge during this difficult time,” read a statement to CTV News.

“We stand united with them in grief and support.”

Flags will be at half-mast until sunset on Tuesday.
