E.C. Row Expressway closures: What you need to know this week

E.C. Row lanes are swapping closure days this week after 8 p.m.

E.C. Row Expressway will be closed overnight because of the ongoing rebuild at the Banwell Road intersection.

The Expressway will be closed eastbound at Banwell, Monday and Tuesday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Then, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. it will be closed westbound at Lesperance Road.

Officials say its “to accommodate the erection of bridge overpass girders” for the Banwell interchange improvements.

There will also be daytime lane restrictions in the westbound lanes of E.C. Row/County Road 22 between Manning Road and Lesperance Road.

The Banwell Interchange and Corridor project is estimated to cost $110.9 million, supported by $68.8 million in provincial funding.
