Windsor residents are in for another blast of mid‑winter weather today as temperatures plunge and blowing snow moves into the region.

A cold warning is in effect for the region from Environment Canada.

Wind chills are expected in the range of minus 25 to minus 30 into Wednesday morning.

The forecast calls for mainly cloudy skies Wednesday with a 40 per cent chance of flurries developing late in the afternoon.

Blowing snow is expected through late morning and afternoon as southwest winds increase to 20 km/h, gusting to 40 km/h.

The high will only reach minus 10 C, but wind chills will make it feel closer to minus 27 in the morning and minus 18 in the afternoon.
