Windsor police are alerting the public that a suspect has been arrested in connection to an assault with a weapon investigation, which left a woman with serious injuries. Just after 6 a.m. on Monday, police were called to an apartment in the 400 block of Glengarry Avenue with reports of a man with a knife. When officers arrived on scene, police said they found a woman with serious, visible injuries. An investigation was launched, and the Windsor Police Service said the victim and a friend visited someone who lived in the building. An argument took place, advancing to a physical fight, when police said the victim was assaulted and threatened with a knife, before they ran from the apartment. Officers said they found the suspect still inside and arrested him. A 32-year-old man has been charged with:
