A man has been left with life-threatening injuries after an assault, the Windsor Police Service said. Just after 7 a.m. on June 8, police were called to the incident in an alleyway in the 1100 block of Marion Avenue. Upon arrival, a 44-year-old man was found with serious injuries. Police said a victim was expected to meet a woman at a garage. Shortly after she arrived, two men allegedly forcibly entered the garage, repeatedly hitting the victim with a baseball bat. A neighbour saw the incident happen and chased a suspect on foot, the WPS said. The remaining suspect and the woman, deemed a suspect by officers, drove away in a vehicle. During which, the woman reportedly hit the victim with the vehicle. The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The neighbour sustained minor injuries. As a result, a 34-year-old woman, a 39-year-old man, and a 31-year-old man were all charged with assault-related charges. The investigation is ongoing.
