Armed robbery suspect sought

Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect wanted in connection to an incident from July 13.

The Windsor police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery investigation.

Just after 11 p.m. on July 13, officers were called to a reported robbery with a firearm in the 800 block of Dufferin Place.

The WPS said they learned a person was walking southbound on the road, when a masked man got out of a vehicle and allegedly pointed a handgun at the person.

The suspect then demanded the victim’s bag, which had around $450 in cash inside. The suspect took the bag and left.

No injuries were reported in the incident, but police are on the lookout for the suspect.

The suspect is a white man, who was wearing no shirt and was wearing a health mask. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black four-door Chevrolet SUV.

Police got a partial license plate: CCZR **8.

Homes and businesses in the area are asked to check their dashcam and surveillance footage between 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. on July 13.
