Windsor police say they’ve arrested a suspect following two armed robberies at a business in the city’s west end. Officers responded to the first incident after a security alarm was activated at a business in the 300 block of Wyandotte Street West shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 1. When they got there, officers say they learned that a suspect had entered the business armed with a firearm and a rock, approached an employee, and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect obtained money and then fled the scene on foot, heading west on Wyandotte Street West and then south on Church Street. Police say no physical injuries were reported. Shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday, police arrested the suspect after a second attempt to rob the same location. He was located in the area of Bruce Ave. and Vera St., following a foot pursuit.
