Police say one person has been killed following a shooting on Friday night in Midland. The OPP says it responded to the shooting at around 8 p.m. on Friday and found one person with gunshot wounds, who was taken to the hospital and later pronounced deceased. Police continue their investigation into the shooting that happened at an apartment complex in the King Street area. You may still notice a police presence in a part of Midland on Saturday. Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and that there’s no bigger threat to public safety. Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them. The investigation continues.
