The Ontario government is investing $252,000 in Moddulx Inc., allowing five more jobs to be created in Windsor-Tecumseh. The money will go towards a new 16,500 square foot manufacturing facility for Moddulx and its composite panel production line. “This investment in Moddulx Inc. is a strong example of how our government is supporting local innovation and advanced manufacturing right here in Windsor-Tecumseh,” said Andrew Dowie, MPP for Windsor-Tecumseh. “By helping businesses grow and create good-paying jobs, we’re building a stronger, more resilient economy and ensuring our region remains competitive in high-tech and high-demand industries.” Moddulx Inc. specializes in making prefabricated composite panels for modular cleanroom, used in industries like automotive and EV batter manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace. “We are grateful for the government’s support in helping us bring advanced modular cleanroom panel manufacturing to Windsor,” said Chirag Shah, founder and CEO of Moddulx. “This funding will accelerate our growth, create skilled local jobs, and support high-demand sectors such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, automotive, EV battery production, semiconductors, and other emerging technologies.” Invest WindsorEssex played a role in Moddulx establishing a new facility in Tecumseh.
