A 15-year-old has been charged after allegedly threatening people with a knife. Just after 10 a.m. on Thursday, police were called with a report of an assault with a weapon at a south Windsor home. When police arrived, they said they learned an argument took place after the teen accused the victims of turning off the washing machine. The victims live in the same building and share the laundry area. Officers said the suspect got a big kitchen knife, pointed it at the victims, threatening to “stab and kill them.” A victim called 911, which distracted the suspect and allowed another victim to take the knife. The suspect ran from the area but was quickly found nearby. The teen is now facing charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death, failure to comply with a release order, and breach of a court order.
