A woman is dead and a man has been arrested after a homicide in Richmond Friday morning, according to local Mounties. Officers were called to the 8600 block of Capstan Way around 10:40 a.m. for “a report of a serious incident at a residential unit,” the Richmond RCMP said in a news release. Images from the scene show police gathered outside the entrance to a highrise building. Police said they arrived to find a female victim, who was taken to hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. “A male suspect has been arrested,” police added. They did not elaborate on when or where he was taken into custody.
