Police in Surrey are looking for witnesses to a hit and run that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries last month. It happened on Thursday, March 5 at 11:24 p.m., when police say a vehicle hit two pedestrians in the intersection of 88th Avenue and Nordel Way. One man was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he continues to recover a month later. Police say the adult male driver fled the scene, and abandoned his vehicle a short distance away. Investigators believe there were good Samaritans who helped the victims, but left the scene before officers arrived.
