Snow day: Many public schools closed in Lower Mainland Wednesday

Aftermath of a wicked winter storm The winter storm that blanketed the South Coast in snow this week has left lots of polar scenes around the region.

Vancouver — The Lower Mainland was hit with another fresh dump of snow overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday morning, prompting several local school districts to cancel classes for the day.
