Mounties say people living in Prince George’s College Heights area heard gunshots and saw a white SUV flee from the neighbourhood on Friday morning. Prince George RCMP say officers were called at around 5:30 a.m. and told that five or six shots were fired near St. Barbara Place and St. Anne Avenue. Police didn’t explain how, but say investigators have confirmed the gunshots and are now looking into whether they’re connected to the fleeing SUV. “We are asking for those in the adjacent blocks to check their surveillance systems and dash cameras for any suspicious or out-of-the-ordinary movement and report it to the police if found,” Cpl.
