Shots were fired by a person in a vehicle in Surrey Tuesday morning, in an incident police are saying was targeted but not believed to be extortion related. Officers were called for reports of gunfire near 66 Avenue and 129 Street at around 10:45 a.m., the Surrey Police Service said in a statement. “An occupant from one vehicle was observed shooting at an occupant associated to another vehicle. Both vehicles fled the area,” according to authorities. “Upon arrival, police located at least two residences damaged by the gunshots. There have been no reported injuries.” No one has been arrested and the motive has not been determined, police said.
