Abbotsford police seek owner of stolen lumber

Update: On Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, police said the owner of the lumber had been located.

Police in Abbotsford are trying to track down the rightful owner of a “large quantity of lumber,” the department said Sunday.

Two stolen semi trailers were recovered by officers late last month, the Abbotsford Police Department said in a statement on social media.

“Investigators believe the lumber is stolen property, but the rightful owner has not yet been identified by police,” the statement said.
