4 taken to hospital after Abbotsford crash

Four people were taken to hospital after a crash in Abbotsford Saturday night, and authorities say speed and alcohol have not been ruled out as potential causes.

Officers were called to the scene of a single-car crash near the intersection of Marshall and Peardonville roads around 10:45 p.m., the Abbotsford Police Department said in an online statement.

“Four people have been transported to hospital, one of whom is suffering from serious life‑threatening injuries,” the statement said.

“Speed and alcohol are being considered as factors in this collision.”
