3.4-magnitude earthquake felt in B.C.’s Okanagan

A small earthquake shook B.C.’s Okanagan Thursday night.

The 3.4-magnitude quake happened at 11:19 p.m., about 10 kilometres southeast of Peachland, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It registered at a depth of approximately 3.8 kilometres.

People in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Peachland, Summerland and Penticton reported feeling the shaking.
