Two people are in hospital with serious injuries following a collision involving a motorcyclist and pedestrian in Port Moody Friday afternoon. First responders were called to the 3000 block of Murray Street just after 3:15 p.m., according to the Port Moody Police Department. Const. Sam Zacharias told CTV News that the pedestrian involved is a man in his 50s. It’s believed he was crossing the street, despite the absence of a crosswalk, when he was struck by the motorcyclist. “Both parties sustained serious injuries and have since been transported to hospital,” Zacharias said. Murray Street has been closed in both directions as investigators gather evidence. “Any witnesses we have yet to speak with are asked to contact us,” he added.
