Paramedics have transported one patient to hospital in stable condition after a plane crashed in Burns Bog in Delta, B.C. Saturday morning. The call came in shortly after 10:30 a.m., B.C. Emergency Health Services told CTV News, adding that three ground ambulances and an air ambulance were dispatched to the scene. One of the ground ambulances had advanced care capabilities, while the other two were primary care ambulances, according to BCEHS. In a news release, the Delta Police Department confirmed the pilot was the lone occupant of the small plane, and had suffered “minor injuries” in the crash. “The National Transportation Safety Board has been notified and will assume conduct of the ensuing investigation to determine cause,” the release reads, referring further questions to the TSB.
