Saskatchewan RCMP major crime branch is asking for the public’s help to find a man charged with murder in connection with a death in Rose Valley. Police say officers were called to a home on Railway Avenue North in Rose Valley at about 11 a.m. on Nov. 5 after receiving a report of an injured person. When officers arrived, they found a man dead inside the home. In an update sent Sunday, RCMP said they have charged 58-year-old Steven Kishayinew of Prince Albert with one count of second-degree murder in the death of 66-year-old Willard Buckle of Rose Valley. RCMP say Kishayinew has not been located and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. He is described as five-foot-10 and about 220 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his left forearm and a bear paw tattoo on his left hand. Police say he may be driving a maroon-coloured 2008 GMC Sierra truck with Saskatchewan licence plate 389 MQY. Kishayinew is known to travel to or may be in Fishing Lake First Nation, Rose Valley, Regina or Prince Albert. Police warn that Kishayinew may be armed and should be considered dangerous. They are asking anyone who sees him not to approach and to contact police.
