1 seriously injured in crash between semi and motorcycle in Langley

One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision between a semi-truck and a motorcycle in Langley Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.

The crash was reported just after 3 p.m. in the 22200 block of Highway 10, local Mounties said in a statement.

The Langley RCMP said drivers could expect lengthy road closures in the area, and motorists were urged to find alternate routes.

“Investigation into this collision is in its infancy and no further details are available currently. Updates will be provided as information becomes available,” a spokesperson for the detachment wrote in the statement.
