Police in Peel Region will be announcing the results of Project “Stratis”, an investigation led by Peel Regional Police (PRP) that resulted in the arrest of several suspects involved in violent armed carjackings as well as the disruption of a criminal network trafficking stolen high‑end vehicles for sale outside of Canada. A news conference is set for Monday at 1 p.m. at PRP Headquarters at 7150 Mississauga Road in Mississauga. Peel Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah along with Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich and Det. Jeff Chamula will be speaking during the news conference along with Abeid Morgan, the Acting Director of Intelligence and Investigations Operations Division for Canada Border Services Agency.
