A 19-year-old is facing charges after police say he assaulted two GO Transit employees in Oshawa earlier this month. The incident occurred at the Oshawa GO Station at around 12:50 a.m. on July 9, police say. “A male was directed by GO Transit personnel to leave the property. The male suspect refused and assaulted two GO Transit employees before fleeing the area,” police said in a news release issued Thursday. “Officers arrived on scene, and with the assistance of the K9 Unit and Air1, searched the area.” According to police, a suspect was found by members of the K9 unit hiding in dense brush and tall grass. He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
