One woman is in custody after a stabbing in East York that sent a female victim to hospital late Wednesday night. Police were called to the area of Lumsden and Eastdale avenue at 10:40 p.m. for reports of two women fighting. Police said one woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, was stabbed and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
