Man, woman found dead in Richmond Hill home

York Regional Police are investigating what they believe to be a domestic-related homicide in Richmond Hill.

Police say they were called to a home on Dunvegan Drive, located in the area of Garden Avenue and Hunters Point Drive, near the intersection of Yonge Street and Highway 7, just before 11 a.m. on Thursday.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found two people -- a man and a woman -- dead. There were obvious signs of trauma on their bodies, Const. Andy Pattenden said.

The incident is considered isolated and police say they are not looking for any suspects at this time and that there is no threat to public safety.

No charges have been laid.
