Cyclist in hospital after hit-and-run in Scarborough

A male cyclist is in hospital after a hit-and-run in Scarborough on Saturday evening.

Toronto police said they got a call for a collision in the area of Neilson Road and McLevin Avenue shortly before 6:30 p.m.

A man in his 60s riding his bicycle was struck by a vehicle, police said. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. It is unclear where the vehicle was last seen heading.
