Two Saskatoon residents killed in Highway 7 crash near Harris

Two people from Saskatoon have died following yesterday's collision on Highway near Rosetown.

A man and woman from Saskatoon are dead following a crash on Highway 7, just west of Harris, Saskatchewan, on Thursday.

Rosetown RCMP were called to the scene, about an hour southwest of Saskatoon, just after 1 p.m. on March 26.

Police learned a van and SUV had collided on the highway.

The driver and passenger of the van, a 33-year-old woman and 37-year-old man from Saskatoon, were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Their families have been notified, the RCMP said.

A second passenger of the van was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The two occupants of the SUV were taken to hospital for treatment, with one sustaining serious injuries.

RCMP are investigating the circumstances of the crash along with a collision analyst.
