Saskatoon police seek tips to identify man found dead outside

Saskatoon police are asking for help identifying a man found dead earlier this month in the city’s west side.

Police say the body was found around 6 a.m., on March 9 in the 100 block of 29th Street West. The major crime section and Saskatchewan coroner’s service are now trying to confirm his identity.

Police describe the man as Caucasian, believed to be between 55 and 70 years old, with an average build and short dyed blond hair. He had hazel eyes, a small scar on the top of his nose and was missing most of his teeth.

Police say he was wearing a black H&M jacket, a black zip‑up hoodie, dark jeans, blue boxers and a blue T‑shirt. Black-framed glasses were found in his jacket pocket, and he also had a pair of sunglasses missing one lens. No identification was located.

Police say the death is not considered suspicious.

Anyone with information that may help identify the man is asked to call Saskatoon police.
