Rose Valley RCMP investigating fire that destroyed business

Rose Valley RCMP are asking for the public’s help as an investigation into a recent fire in the community gets underway.

At around 1:45 a.m. on Monday, April 13, Rose Valley RCMP were alerted of a fire at a business on Centre Street.

Officers and local firefighters responded to the scene. The business was ultimately destroyed by the fire. No injuries were reported.

Videos posted to social media early Monday appeared to show the historic Rose Valley Hotel engulfed in flames.

RCMP are continuing to investigate the blaze and ask the public to report any information pertaining to suspicious people or vehicles in and around Rose Valley around the time of the fire.

Information can be submitted to RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
