Investigators in Prince Albert have determined a fire that incinerated a wooden structure in the parking lot of the police station was accidental in nature. On Monday, Prince Albert police were calling on the public for tips about the blaze, which completely engulfed the wooden structure on Sunday afternoon before firefighters arrived and doused it with water. Police considered the fire suspicious, but “after a comprehensive review of available evidence,” including CCTV footage from the police station and surrounding area, they have ruled out foul play, a finding corroborated by an investigator from the Prince Albert Fire Department. The blaze is no longer considered suspicious, police say.
