A member of the Saskatoon Mamba is taking home a Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) award. Easton Thimm has been named the CEBL Developmental Player of the Year. It was an all-Mamba final in voting for the award, with Thimm’s teammate Mohamed Mahadhi finishing as runner-up. Thimm averaged 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for the Mamba this season. Multiple Mamba players received year-end recognition from the league. Tavian Dunn-Martin was named to the All-CEBL Second Team, and Jaden Bediako was recognized on the CEBL All-Canadian Team. The Scarborough Shooting Stars took home five awards, including Myles Powell being named CEBL Most Valuable Player. A full list of CEBL award winners is available here.
