Wascana Busker festival and Riders’ pre-game party cancelled due to rain

At least two events slated for Saturday in Regina have been cancelled due to the rain.

The Wascana Busker Festival was scheduled to take place in Wascana Park, with organizers making the decision on Saturday morning to cancel.

The Coors Light Party in the Park ahead of the Rider game has also been cancelled due to weather conditions.

According to the Riders, fans can still join the fun early as gates at Mosaic Stadium will open at 3:30 p.m. as scheduled.

While the rain will continue, umbrellas are not permitted inside Mosaic Stadium for the comfort and safety of fans, so fans are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, the organization said.
