The Regina Police Service (RPS) is renewing its call for the public’s help in solving the disappearance of Nakita Jade Harris, who’s been missing for nearly three years. Harris was last seen in October 2023 at a home on the 2200 of Broder Street. She was last heard from in early November of the same year and was officially reported missing to police on April 10, 2024. At the time of her disappearance, Harris was 30 years old. Since her disappearance, Harris has not contacted family, including her 12-year-old daughter. Due to a lack of activity on her bank accounts and social media and no record of her accessing public health or social services, investigators believe Harris is dead. However, without confirmation, Harris remains on RPS’s Long-Term Missing Persons List and her family holds out hope that she is still alive, according to police. Harris is described as five feet five inches tall, and around 150 pounds with a medium build. She is known to change her appearance frequently. However, when she was last seen, she had black hair, hazel eyes, and numerous body tattoos including a skull and butterfly on her upper left arm, compass on her left elbow, campfire on her left forearm, and an octopus on her right hand. According to RPS, Harris also goes by her middle name. “Once again, we ask anyone with information that could assist us in bringing this investigation to a conclusion to please come forward,” RPS said in its update.
