Regina Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a serious assault with a weapon earlier this month. The incident happened on May 2 around 3 a.m. in the area of 7th Avenue and Robinson Street. Police say a man was severely injured by an edged weapon during the attack. According to investigators, two men had initially been involved in a confrontation with the victim before one suspect allegedly struck the man multiple times. The suspect is described as an Indigenous man in his early 20s, approximately 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, with buzz cut-style hair.
