Former SaskExpress employee Jeffrey (Craig) Salkeld will have his preliminary hearing on charges of sexual interference and sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age this summer. Salkeld was charged in December in connection with an alleged incident in July 2025. Police said at the time it involved a youth being touched inappropriately. Following Salkeld’s arrest, SaskExpress cancelled a run of planned shows, saying their priority was “maintaining a safe and secure environment for our community.” In a court appearance on Feb. 23, Salkeld’s preliminary inquiry was set for July 8 at Regina Provincial Court.
