Pedestrian taken to hospital with minor injuries following collision in Regina

The Regina Police Service (RPS) responded to the scene of a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Lewvan Drive and Regina Avenue on Wednesday.

The crash occurred in the intersection’s northbound lanes, according an advisory from RPS shortly before 5 p.m.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital by paramedics with only minor injuries, police say.

Northbound traffic was diverted onto Regina Avenue – while travellers westbound on Regina Avenue were being diverted at Pasqua Street.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

The service said updates will be provided when they are available.

As of Wednesday evening, no updates were offered.
