Pancake lovers can look forward to the arrival of a dual International House of Pancakes (IHOP) and Applebee’s location in east Regina. A now-filled job posting for an Applebee’s-IHOP Restaurant Manager was posted on Indeed calling for applicants to be part of a first-of-its-kind restaurant opening in Saskatchewan. In addition, social media accounts on both Facebook and Instagram have appeared for an IHOP and Applebee’s Regina with the description: Your spot for comfort food any time of day. Burgers, bites, pancakes, and more. The address listed in the job posting is 3698 Victoria Ave. East, the former home of a Chili’s and later the Rotisserie buffet restaurant. A formal opening announcement has not yet been made by the company, but a similar Applebee’s and IHOP location was opened in Winnipeg earlier in 2025. An Applebee’s restaurant was previously located in south Regina, while another in east Regina has rebranded. IHOP does not currently have any locations in Saskatchewan.
