Here’s what City of Regina services are open and closed on Labour Day

Some City of Regina services will be closed or operating on reduced schedules on Labour Day.

All civic offices will be closed.

The North West Leisure Centre and the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., while the Sportplex – Fieldhouse will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the Sportplex – Lawson Aquatic Centre will be closed for maintenance.

Buffalo Meadows Outdoor Pool, as well as Massey Outdoor Pool will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Maple Leaf Outdoor Pool will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 a.m. and Wascana Outdoor Pool will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Regent Outdoor Pool will be closed.

Regina Transit buses will run using the Sunday routes and schedules but the Information Centre and RIDELine will be closed. Paratransit services will operate on a holiday schedule from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery and Regina Cemetery gates will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. but the office will be closed.

Waste collection, including garbage, recycling, and compost will be picked up according to usual schedules.

The landfill will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with entry gates closing at 5:15 p.m.

Parking meters will not be in effect.

Regina Public Library locations will be closed on Labour Day and will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
