Here is the dream home you can win through the STARS lottery

STARS has revealed a fully furnished $1.5M show home in White City as part of its 15th annual lottery supporting life-saving air medical services.

STARS Air Ambulance has unveiled one of its dream homes for its 15^th annual lottery.

The fully furnished showhome in White City is valued at almost $1.5 million.

The home, located at 2 Sarah’s Cove, and one in Saskatoon located at Greenbryre Estates at 118 Greenbyre Ave., are the grand prizes in the STARS lottery.

There are over 1,600 prizes in total, including a Ford F-150 4x4 truck and a pontoon boat.

Jeri-Lynn Johnston said STARS relies heavily on the annual lottery to help keep their life-saving helicopters and crews in the air, providing 24/7 care across Saskatchewan.

“The funds raised by this lottery directly impact the critical care that we provide on a daily basis. It puts fuel in the helicopters, it trains our crews, it provides the medical equipment that we need each and every day,” she explained.

“The results of supporting this lottery, the tangible results, are daily.”

Since beginning operations in Saskatchewan in 2012, STARS has flown more than 10,000 life-saving missions across the province. STARS operates from two bases at the Regina and Saskatoon airports.

Tickets are on sale until Aug. 21, with the draws taking place on Sept. 3.

Both grand prize showhomes can be viewed by the public from June 18 to Aug. 16 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to STARS.
