The conservatory at Regina’s Government House is closed for the foreseeable future thanks to a hailstorm that descended upon the city Tuesday night. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Government House said the hail broke several windows on the west side of the building and damaged the newly planted Edwardian Gardens. The conservatory received the brunt of the damage, leaving broken glass everywhere. In the post, the Government House thanked the clean-up efforts of the maintenance team and said the rest of the building remains open to the public during regular hours.
