Saskatchewan RCMP’s Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Team (SERT) has charged four men following two separate drug trafficking investigations that led to significant seizures of fentanyl, cocaine and cash in Moose Jaw and Swift Current. The investigation began on March 9, 2026, when SERT arrested an adult male in Regina after officers seized illicit drugs and a prohibited firearm at a residence. The ongoing investigation led to further enforcement action on April 10, 2026, when SERT executed a search warrant at a hotel on Diefenbaker Drive in Moose Jaw. During the search of a hotel room and a vehicle, officers seized approximately 245 grams of fentanyl, 72 grams of cocaine, cash, and drug trafficking equipment. Two men were arrested at the scene. A 21-year-old and 22-year-old are each charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Both appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on April 16. Later that same day, SERT executed a search warrant at an apartment unit on Robert Street East in Swift Current. Officers searched the unit and two vehicles, locating approximately 282 grams of fentanyl, 556 grams of cocaine, cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Two more men were arrested. A 21-year-old from Niagara Falls, Ontario, and a 25-year-old from Mississauga, Ontario are each charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. Both appeared in Swift Current Provincial Court on April 15. The investigation remains ongoing.
