A weapons call in Regina on Saturday afternoon ended with police finding “cap guns” as the cause of the call. Regina Police Service received the call around 5:22 p.m. regarding a possible firearms offence in the 2100 block of Saskatchewan Drive. “Officers quickly arrived on scene and began their investigation into the possible firearms offence,” read a Saturday news release. “Officers located individuals with ‘cap guns’ and deemed the firearms offence as unfounded.” Police say activities on the block have returned to normal since the report but the investigation is still ongoing.
