Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend Thousands of runners will hit the streets of Ottawa this weekend for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend. The Ottawa Race Weekend Running and Fitness Expo will be held at Carleton University Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here is the race schedule: Saturday Sunday The O-Train will start running at 5 a.m. Sunday for participants and spectators heading to the race. Great Glebe Garage Sale The Great Glebe Garage Sale is Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Glebe residents are the primary vendors selling their stuff from their front lawns, driveways and porches. The Glebe Community Association encourages everyone to donate some of their proceeds to the Ottawa Food Bank. Ottawa Titans The Ottawa Titans host the New York Boulders for a three-game series this weekend at the Ottawa Baseball Stadium. First pitch Friday night is 7 p.m., with games starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Saturday is “Bark in the Park,” with fans encouraged to bring their fluffy plus one to the game. The theme for this year is “50 years of Odawa.” The Odawa Native Friendship Centre is on St. Laurent Boulevard. Kanata Ribfest Ribfest rolls into Kanata this weekend. The 2025 Kanata Ribfest and Poutine runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Community Hub on March Road. Pakistani Food Festival Enjoy authentic Pakistani this weekend at the Pakistani Food Festival. There will also be live music, Henna and more. The festival runs from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Greely Community Centre.
