Via Rail cancels three trips destined for or departing from Ottawa on Sunday

Via Rail cancelled three trips travelling to or leaving Ottawa on Sunday due to operational issues.

According to Via Rail’s train schedule, trains 38, 44 and 54 were cancelled on Sunday.

Train 38 was set to depart Ottawa for Montreal, while trains 44 and 54 were meant to travel from Toronto to Ottawa.

Via Rail posted an advisory warning that train schedules may be impacted by Sunday’s extremely cold weather, though it is unclear if the cancellations were due to weather.
