Vehicle crashes into Barrhaven Pizza Hut

CTV Ottawa: Minor injuries for senior at Pizza Hut A car smashed through a Pizza Hut drive-through in Barrhaven injuring a 70-year-old inside the restaurant.

Paramedics say a 70-year old woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a vehicle smashed through the front window of a Pizza Hut in Barrhaven.

The woman was inside the restaurant at the time.  The incident happened at the Pizza Hut location on Greenbank at Strandherd, shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014.

Police say one other person also suffered minor injuries.  There was no immediate explanation on what caused the crash.
