Rainy first Monday of November in Ottawa

It will be a wet start to the first week of November in Ottawa.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for showers beginning this morning. A high of 10 C today, with the temperature falling to 7 C this afternoon.

It will be mainly cloudy tonight with a 40 per cent chance of showers. Low 4 C.

Tuesday will see a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of early morning showers. High 10 C.

A mix of sun and cloud is expected on Wednesday with a 60 per cent chance of rain. High 10 C.

The outlook for Thursday calls for sunshine. High 8 C.

Friday will be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers. High 8 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 8 C and a low of 0 C.

Mild end to 2025, start to 2026

Environment Canada’s long-range forecast calls for a mild end to 2025 and start to 2026 in Ottawa and eastern Ontario.

The three-month forecast issued on Nov. 1 shows Environment Canada is forecasting above-normal temperatures in Ottawa for November, December and January.

Precipitation levels are expected to be normal over the next three months.
