Ottawa police say three youths have been charged in connection to an assault in Stittsville that sent three teens to the hospital earlier this month. Shortly before 9:40 p.m. on May 8, police responded to an assault in a parking lot on Stittsville Main Street near Carp Road. Police say three victims under the age of 18 were taken to the hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries. Following an investigation, three youths also under the age of 18 were charged with a total of 19 offences, including weapons and assault-related charges. The charged individuals cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
